All aspects of service work are undertaken for any type of air conditioning or refrigeration system, from small split systems through to large industrial systems, cold rooms or fluid chillers. This can range from one off emergency call outs with our 24-hour cover, through to full service and maintenance contracts throughout Shropshire, the Midlands and Mid Wales.

At RAC Climate Control we pride ourselves in getting to the customer as quickly as possible to rectifying any problems with minimal fuss and disruption. Air conditioning maintenance is increasingly becoming an important part of any business. Due to increasing energy prices and capital equipment costs, you need to get the most out of any system installed.

Regular maintenance has been proven to reduce the running cost by up to 5% for certain systems and will also prolong the life expectancy of the equipment. All engineers are fully qualified and competent to undertake any service and maintenance work to your air conditioning system.

Heat Plant & Refrigeration Regulations

As from July 2007 new Regulations came into effect with the aim to reduce emissions from any air conditioning system, heat pumps or refrigeration plant that contains more than 3KG of refrigerant gas. This is basically most fixed systems.

This requires that operators (the customer or end user) must:

Prevent leakage, and repair any leaks ASAP
Arrange proper refrigerant recovery by certified personnel during servicing and disposal
Carry out leak checks to the schedule according to the amount of refrigerant in the system
Ensure that only certified competent personnel carry out leakage checks
Maintain records of refrigerants and servicing
This puts a lot of the responsibility for correct usage and maintenance on you, the customer. Your business has an environmental obligation to service and maintain your equipment, so that it is as energy efficient and as cost effective as possible.
